The place was significantly overpriced for its actual condition, and after we reported the problems with photos, the host never responded. We stayed in January and were very disappointed. The accommodation didn’t match the listing, and the photos seemed heavily edited to make it look much better. The house looked as though it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Floors, walls, kitchen appliances and the bathroom were all visibly dirty and greasy. It wasn’t a small issue, but the general state of the property. Several advertised features were missing or didn’t work. There was no hot tub, despite the listing saying there was one. The “sofa bed” was actually an old metal bed in very poor condition. Only the shower had hot water, while the other taps ran cold. The TV and toaster couldn’t be used, and noise from neighboring units was clearly audible despite the claim of soundproof walls. If we’d known what the accommodation was really like, we wouldn’t have booked it.

The landlady gave us such a lovely welcome, even bringing animal-shaped towels for our little ones. Everything was in order and very clean, and the village-style rooms were way beyond standard. It’s a great place in a really great location. I especially recommend it for Christmas in Cyprus.

The location is great, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. It’s a historic building on the quiet edge of Lefkara’s very touristy center, with three apartments around a walled courtyard. Our room was nice and had lots of historic details. But hygiene in this old building was clearly lacking. After one night, we both had itchy bumps in a pattern that looked like bedbug bites. They were still there and itching a week later. There was also a large cockroach crawling around in the kitchen. That’s just not acceptable.

I found this little gem because of a wedding in Kato Drys. The place was quaint, very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The host was lovely, polite and happy to help. The price was very reasonable, and the area is awesome, with restaurants, local shops and treks nearby.
