We’re very grateful to Vakis Paraskevopoulos, Director of Loss Prevention, for helping us recover our missing belongings. He dealt with the situation thoughtfully and with real dedication. His compassion, attention to detail, and care for guests were remarkable, and he turned a stressful situation into a positive one. He’s a credit to the hotel and a great example of customer service. The facilities made for a wonderful stay: a heated pool, relaxing spa, excellent fitness centre, and water sports. In the evening, the hotel bar had a great atmosphere, and the on-site Asian restaurant served outstanding food, especially the sushi. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with fresh fish, breads and pastries, fresh and dried fruit, omelets, pancakes, Belgian waffles, and cakes, plus special treats during holidays. The rooms were spacious, elegantly designed, and carefully maintained, with beautiful sea views and thoughtful touches like slippers, complimentary water, and custom bookmarks. Our stay at Parklane Limassol was lovely, largely because of the staff, who were so kind and clearly cared. At check-in, the receptionist was warm and asked if we needed anything, though we’d only just arrived and hadn’t thought of questions yet. Around lunchtime we went looking for a quick bite and looked into NAMMOS. A staff member came up behind me quite suddenly and startled me. We were asked about a reservation, then told they were fully booked. We hadn’t been told at check-in that an event was happening that afternoon, which would have been useful to know. The gentleman at reception tried to help by suggesting a local place. We wondered at first if our linen shorts and flip-flops were too casual, but later saw plenty of similarly dressed people at the fairly relaxed event. We explained to concierge that we only wanted a quick, casual lunch, and were directed to another hotel restaurant that was even more formal. The team there were lovely, and we enjoyed the meal, though it wasn’t the relaxed option we’d been after. Later, a wonderful intern from Amsterdam asked how our stay was going. When we told him what happened, he took it seriously and brought it to his manager, who came over personally. The manager was incredibly thoughtful and arranged fruit and drinks for our room as an apology, even though he wasn’t responsible for the original mix-up. From then on, the team went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. I also want to mention the helpful, friendly people at the Loro Piana boutique and Bottega. The hotel feels luxurious and has lots of beautiful features. Having stayed at some incredible hotels around the world, I felt a few small improvements and more attention to detail would bring the experience fully in line with a true five-star standard. The staff were super lovely and made a real difference. Clearer communication and a few tweaks would make the experience even better.

We’re already planning another visit. The hotel and grounds stayed extremely clean, and the gardens were beautifully kept. The pools and beach areas were spacious, well maintained, and a pleasure to spend our days in. Our room was fantastic, with lots of space and incredible attention to detail. I also had an amazing treatment at the spa. Service was wonderful from everyone, including reception, housekeeping, and the Lane restaurant team at breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to Nikolina and Teta, and to all the waiters who made the stay so memorable. The concierge was efficient even before we arrived and answered all my questions. Parklane Hotel Limassol is the best resort we’ve been to.
