As neighbors, we often see guests who’ve paid for rooms at Sanders in Limassol left outside for hours because they can’t get in. They try the phone number they’re given, but nobody answers, and there’s no reliable contact for the building’s management. We feel sorry for them but can’t do much to help. Some are left without food or drink, so we sometimes bring them water and snacks. Many eventually give up and pay even more to stay at a hotel. Guests also can’t work out how to use the building’s parking. They leave cars in front of neighboring houses, taking residents’ spaces while the building’s own lot sits empty. There’s still no contact information to address this, and it causes constant frustration in the neighborhood. I reported these problems on Sanders' website. I got an initial reply saying they’d look into it, but nothing changed, and there was no response when I followed up. This has been the worst Airbnb experience I’ve witnessed, in Cyprus or anywhere. It’s disgraceful how guests and the community are treated. They’d be doing everyone a favor by closing, since they seem to have no interest in running a respectable service.
