White City Limassol

We had a really enjoyable week at White City Limassol Aparthotel. The apartment gave us plenty of room, with a kitchenette and living area, separate bedroom, and bathroom with a shower. It was a comfortable, convenient base for exploring Cyprus. The location worked well. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the old town and seafront, and only five minutes to one of Limassol’s main shopping streets. There are lots of restaurants nearby, within a 10-minute walk. Inside, the apartment was modern, with keypad entry instead of a keycard, a comfortable bed and a big sofa. The kitchenette had an oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, and the usual small appliances. The air conditioning was quiet and effective, and there was a lovely large balcony. There’s also a rooftop pool, though we didn't use it because it wasn't heated. I imagine it’d be nice for a dip in summer. A big plus for us was the TV, with lots of standard UK channels and Netflix. The reception desk was always staffed, and the staff were friendly and efficient. There are a couple of large, separate guest areas in reception. Parking was fairly straightforward, with a small basement car park at White City, a little public car park across the road, and spaces on nearby streets. We were told the apartment would be cleaned, with towels changed and bins emptied, every other day, but it happened less often than that. Reception were happy to give us fresh towels when we asked. A few things could make the apartments even better. Some plain, large mugs would be useful, as we found the crockery a bit odd and wacky, to be honest. We bought our own at Jumbo for €1.50. Cushions for the sofa would help too, since we used our bed pillows for extra comfort. There were only four coat hangers, so we had to double and triple up our coats and trousers. The bedside tables looked trendy but were too small to be practical. Most of the things we usually keep by the bed, like glasses and tech, ended up on the floor. We'd definitely recommend White City Limassol as a great place to stay.
