We rented Akamas Turtle Villas for three summers in a row and spent several thousand in total. The villas themselves are genuinely beautiful, and the location is perfect. My disappointment is with the host, whose behavior has felt extremely unprofessional. Communication was poor, slow, inconsistent, and completely disrespectful. As a returning guest who had paid substantial amounts, I expected timely replies and basic courtesy. Instead, the host’s attitude made the experience frustrating. Respect and professionalism matter as much as the property. I’d urge future guests to think carefully about booking with hosts who treat loyal clients this way.

We came to Sandy Villa for our summer holidays three years in a row, along with four other families who are close friends. But the host experience left a lot to be desired. Replies were often slow or unclear, which made sorting out details harder than it needed to be. When we later asked about booking again, our messages were completely ignored, so we didn’t feel welcome or encouraged to return. After paying 5k for a week, we were then asked for another 150e for electricity. I found that attitude astonishing, unprofessional, and disrespectful. We won’t be back.
