Mr. Socrates was helpful and discreet, and even gave us watermelon from the garden. The apartment was clean, nicely equipped and a much better fit for our family of 2+2 than a small hotel room. The air conditioning worked well, even with 38 Celsius outside, and the clear, cool pool was great when we wanted to relax there. It’s in a very quiet village, with lovely views of the Akama mountains and the sea. We’ll definitely book here again next time we visit Cyprus.

Socrates and his son George went out of their way to help with our extra requests, and the fresh oranges were a lovely bonus. The apartment was comfortable and felt like home, with amazing views across the beach and mountains. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

We were sorry to leave after just three days. Fresh towels, an emptied bin and a new bath mat appeared, which was much more than we expected from an apartment rental. The apartment was immaculate, with modern new decor, and we chose the option facing the pool with sea views. Socrates is warm and friendly, and his son and family were just as helpful; they speak perfect English, which helped us as non-Greek speakers. The flowers, trees, birds and wide views made the grounds feel very much like Cyprus. There are good places to eat within walking distance, Akamas Park is an easy drive, Latsi’s busy scene is close, and grocery shops are nearby. It’s an ideal, affordable base. We absolutely loved our stay.

It’s a bit away from town, and close to restaurants and shops, so having a car is better. Socrates is a very friendly man and ready to help. The only downside was that air conditioning costs extra, though we didn’t need it in room 103, which gets a little more breeze.

All the self-catering facilities you need are there. The unit is clean and compact, in a peaceful part of Neo Gorio and only a few minutes from the beaches. A perfect spot for a weekend getaway.
