Villa Chrysanthemum Large Private Pool Walk to Beach A C Wifi

The house was in terrible shape and hadn’t been cleaned properly. The shower was broken and leaking, and there was almost no water pressure. There was no AC in the living room. The pool wasn’t maintained by authorized personnel, and the chlorine levels were dangerous for my family. Broken tiles on the veranda also left dangerous edges for residents.

We booked at least two months ahead, and I spoke with the host a couple of days before our stay. He never mentioned a problem. Then, when we arrived at the villa, he told us during check-in that he’d double-booked it and we’d need to find somewhere else. We were a group of friends who had travelled two hours from another city, so being left to find a different place at the last minute was awful. Stay away from this villa.

They accepted our booking, so we booked flights. Ten days later they cancelled our stay. My mother had separately booked three weeks and my sister another two weeks later in the summer. Those were all cancelled too, leaving us high and dry. We’re very upset.

They canceled our booking just two days before we were due to arrive, in the middle of high season when there was nothing else available. They said there had been a flood, but a few hours later I saw the villa listed on another platform at a higher price. Stay away, it feels like a scam.
