A friend suggested this hotel, and I'm glad they did. We had a superb 12 day break, with the hotel and its lovely team making a big difference. It's super clean, the pool is clean too, and the location is great for restaurants and shops. Mr Mario's is an absolute gentleman. Whenever he saw us, he'd greet us with a huge smile and offer us coffee. All the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Mario's, you've got a great team, keep it up. I'll recommend you to my family and friends, and I'll see you again. Thanks for everything.

My family of four, my brother's family of four, and my parents are all here, and nobody has a bad word to say. The pool is rarely busy even though we're here in the height of summer, and both it and the children's pool are amazing. I can let the kids play in either pool or the play area without worrying about losing sight of them. It's a very family-friendly place. The rooms are clean and modern, the breakfast selection is great, and the staff will do anything for you. I've stayed at the Palm beach the last few years when visiting, but it's a lot busier now. On future trips to larnaca, we're staying at Frixos. We love you!

We only stayed 2 nights after flying into Larnaca, so this worked well for a short visit. For longer, it might feel a bit small. We rented a car, but the hotel offers a free one-way transfer for bookings over 5 nights. There are parking spaces, several restaurants nearby, and a bus to Larnaca city center every 20-30 minutes. The beach is reachable too, though it's very small and partly rocky. We had a spacious room in the neighboring building, with a fridge and kitchen so we could make our own food or a small dinner. It felt fairly new, was clean, and had good air conditioning. The only small issue was a soap dispenser that didn't work properly. Check-in and service were very good, even though we arrived late. Breakfast had a good range, including fruit, vegetables, pancakes and the usual options. There's a green area for sunbathing, and you can eat breakfast outside. The swimming pool isn't heated.

Marios, the owner, is a true gentleman. He gave my family and me a holiday we'll never forget, and I'll see him again when we return in October! 🌴☀️ Yamas!!! We loved this clean, friendly, luxurious Hotel/Apartment. It's right on the beach in a lovely secluded spot, great for relaxing, and convenient for getting to nearby towns. Everything was excellent.

We stayed for a week in May 2019, hoping to meet friends and enjoy the Frixos, which we thought had been fully refurbished. It turned out to be a disappointing visit. We think management could have handled things better, but they didn't seem interested, just focused on getting extra money from us. The check-in was very good, and the girl at reception was friendly and helpful. She said we had a nice room. It was clean, pleasant and looked onto the pool. Some staff were very pleasant, notably the non-Cypriot ones. The extra charge for a child over 13, who is treated as an adult under hotel policy, was a major issue. The hotel said there were extra costs, but we used the same room, bed, bedding and towels. We tried to argue the point, but the manager never showed up, and staff insisted the fee had to be paid. At checkout they didn't waive anything, even though we'd had 7 bad nights of sleep. We paid and left, treating it as a lesson in how some hotels treat guests and whether they need repeat business in Cyprus. They also saved costs on us: only two of us tried breakfast once, and our daughter didn't have any. The air conditioning rattled on and off the first night. Its controls were on the kitchen wall, and the thermostat there seemed to affect the system, though I don't see how it could measure the bedroom temperature. We didn't switch it off because our daughter was sleeping in the lounge/kitchen, and hoped the noise would settle. It didn't. Reception sent a technician, who said the central air-con runs at night to clean the system, even if switched off. That's a bad time to do it when people are trying to sleep. He gave us a remote, but we still couldn't stop the cleaning cycle. We slept badly for 5 nights. Management offered us a different room for the last 2 nights, in the next block above the supermarket. We accepted, hoping for better, but both AC units there were noisy and their flaps didn't work properly. At least we could turn them off, though the room was uncomfortable in daytime temperatures in the high 30's. The shower had poor pressure and wasn't a rain shower. We put up with it since we were leaving in a couple of days. The beds in both rooms were hard and uncomfortable, though extra pillows were provided when asked. Breakfast was a buffet with lukewarm cooked food in silver tureens. There was no fresh orange juice, just orange or lemon squash. The bacon and cocktail sausages seemed to be sitting in water and weren't appetising. Other food was left exposed, or behind glass covers open at the front, where flies could get in. We saw flies on both the covered and buffet food, so stopped eating breakfast there and went into Larnaca town instead. That cost us extra while the hotel saved money.
