Bella View Art Boutique Hotel

We slept really well in the great beds, and the evenings by the pool were a treat. It’s a secluded, quiet spot with lovely distant sea views, easy on-site parking, and not too far from the main road. The interiors are amazing, and the staff were excellent, respectful, and courteous. Breakfast was very good; just note there’s no complimentary bottled water in the rooms. Kids can use the mini golf course and pool, and there’s foosball too. We stayed on weekdays. There are no elevators, so lower floors may suit you better if you have big luggage.

The team is the best part of the place. Everyone was friendly and so helpful, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. I’ve enjoyed staying with them so much that I’ll probably book my third visit soon. I wanted somewhere quiet to unwind when I wasn’t at work, even though it’s a bit out of the way from my workplace. The hotel has an art museum feel, which is unusual but works, right down to the room signs. The rooms aren’t especially modern, but they have what you need: good showers, plenty of TV stations, a mini fridge, and a balcony. Breakfast is a light buffet, with no big fry-up, and suited me fine. I had dinner there many nights and the food was very nice with a decent range of choices. The internet was okay, as expected. If you’re after a unique boutique hotel that isn’t ultra modern, it’s a good option.

We always have fun with the other guests, many of whom come back regularly like we do. On arrival we got such a warm welcome, including from ICE, the resident dog. Management and staff are attentive and professional, and always willing to help. We’ve just returned from another visit to our favourite hotel in Bellapais after a relaxing two and a half weeks in lovely, homely surroundings. We’d happily recommend this charming boutique hotel and will be back next year. You won’t be disappointed!

The balcony had a gorgeous view, and breakfast, which was included in the fee, was really tasty. Staff were polite and friendly. It’s a beautiful, quiet setting within walking distance of Bellapais Monastery and the village. The themed rooms are a fun quirk, we stayed in the Leonard Cohen room. I’d definitely recommend it and will stay here again.
