We wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing, not fancy, and this simple place suited us for two nights. The room and bathroom were basic but clean, as were the little kitchen sink and fridge. WiFi was okay, parking was big, and so was the pool. It could use a little decorating. Breakfast was really nice and traditional, and the family running the bungalows were friendly. The location is handy for Cratos Beach and Cratos Casino, and our room was spacious, air conditioned and had a minibar. There’s also a supermarket near the bungalows. But using the pool or beach facilities at Cratos Hotel costs extra, and it isn’t cheap. Cleanliness was a major problem. The pool had a slimy layer and looked too risky to swim in, the room wasn’t very clean, and the whole property seemed poorly kept. We chose not to eat breakfast there because of the hygiene concerns. There was no reception on site to help with requests, and no one checked on us during our five day stay. The WiFi didn’t work at all. We also had only hot water from the shower and both sinks, with no cold water because of the heat, and the staff couldn’t fix it. It could be a beautiful place given the location, but the owners need to put more effort into upkeep, especially hygiene.

After I broke my leg at the Cratos Hotel beach area on my first day in North Cyprus, the owners, Mustafa and his parents, Ayesha and Ahmed, came to visit me every day at Girnie University Hospital. I had surgery there and was hospitalized for more than ten days. Their kindness and care made me feel like I’d gained a new family. Praise God. I stayed at Paradise for three weeks while recovering, met amazing Turkish Cypriots and made friends with British guests too. The hotel is peaceful, relaxing and safe, with beautiful mountain views and beach access on the adjacent street by Cratos Hotel. The family-owned bungalows are lovely, and the restaurant serves delicious breakfasts and meals using vegetables grown on the property. Everything was very clean, and there’s an awesome pool, bar and restaurant. I feel truly blessed to have stayed at Paradise Hotel. Highly recommend Paradise 😊

The site was scruffy and felt like it should have been torn down 20 or 30 years ago. The food was greasy and low quality, and it wasn’t family friendly. Very poor overall, can’t recommend it.
