The breakfast selection was plentiful and varied. In the afternoon, though, we couldn't find any waiters in the lounge area for over 30 minutes. The location is good, and the rooms are decent, though only partly renovated. Our suite had a nice walk-in shower. The “regular” room had an old bathtub that could have been cleaner.

I've stayed at DH hotel every year, and up until early 2025 it was easily my best hotel experience. The breakfasts had lots of fruit, fresh cakes, homemade pastries, and different kinds of village bread. Dinner was a buffet each night with an amazing selection at a great price. Room service was excellent too: I'd leave the “take care of my room” note, and within two hours the room would be cleaned and the towels, toilet paper, and dishes replaced. Things had changed for the worse by my three-night visit starting March 23th 2026. The first day was fine, and I had a good buffet. But at breakfast the next morning, many of the things I used to enjoy were gone: no tahini or cheese pastries, grilled halloumi, bananas, or oranges. The breads had been replaced with generic convenience-store bread, grilled lountza with old bacon, and the chocolate cake was gone. The other cakes were very dry. I left the room-cleaning note that morning, but after two hours nobody had come or replaced anything in the bathroom. The receptionist said someone would come “at some point.” I waited another three hours. A charwoman finally arrived, mopped only half the room, sprayed the toilet, and left without changing the dishes or replacing anything in the bathroom. I had to chase her to get even one roll of toilet paper. On the second night, I found out at the last minute, without any notice, that there wouldn't be a buffet. The receptionist said it was because there were very few customers, so I had to order à la carte from their restaurant. As I'd worried, the food was mediocre, like something from a cheap tavern, but the prices were atrocious. The third day was much the same: poor breakfast choice, another late charwoman who did the same things in five minutes, and no buffet. This time I drove to an actual restaurant to eat. By the final day, my family and I couldn't wait to leave. I don't think I'll ever come back.

We stayed one night as part of an organized trip, so I can't judge it against the regular price. Dinner and breakfast were truly excellent, like meals at a quality restaurant. The room was basic, and we could hear noise from other rooms, but the bed was really comfortable and there was a smart TV. The gym and pool were pretty nice too. The bathroom had ants everywhere, and its door was an odd saloon-style door with no lock.

The Christmas decorations made the place feel warm and festive. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, so we felt really well looked after. Everything was excellent throughout our stay. We'd happily come back, and highly recommend it!

The room wasn't in acceptable condition for a hotel. The shower drain was broken, and there was a kiss mark on our mirror. The breakfast wasn't great either, and the staff were a little rude. The best part was the location and the view.
