Kato Paphos Town House 1

The staff were brilliant and helpful, from the gardener to the reception team and the restaurant staff. Our room was cleaned daily, though towels were changed every other day. We were apparently upgraded after a quick check-in, and the room was nice. Breakfast was the same each day and got a bit repetitive, but the chef could make an omelette. Dinner, which was included in our half-board stay, changed daily and was tasty. We took the airport bus for 2 euros, though the stop was a bit far away. The hotel is near the harbour, where you can catch buses for sightseeing. We'd highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from plenty of attractions, and the facilities were very good. Our room was spotless, the food had lots of choices and was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mrs. Niki, Nicoleta, Alina, Eugenia, and Raj. They put so much care into guests' wellbeing that I think they deserve a pay rise. Late edit: €300 went missing from the room I stayed in. There is a digital key for entry, so it should be easy to check who entered and when, including housekeeping. As soon as I noticed, I told reception, and they called the Police Station. They arranged a taxi for us to file a complaint, but my family and I had to pay for both trips. Long story short, this is a 4 star hotel, and management never told us the status of their investigation. It looks like nothing is going to happen.

We spent a relaxing, really pleasant week at the Sofianna. I'd read some reviews saying the all-inclusive food could get repetitive, but I didn't find that at all. There was a good variety every day, and the food was excellent. The rooms were clean, the hotel was immaculate, and the service was exceptional. It was delightful.

This was our second visit, and we’ve just got home already thinking about a third. Raj and Ines in the restaurant always greeted us warmly, especially our 2 year old son. The food was delicious, the rooms were clean, and everyone seemed happy and friendly. The snack bar was yummy, with unlimited ice cream, and the pools were clean. The lifeguards were efficient and fair about keeping children safe. The hotel's location is great, about 20 minutes from the airport by private taxi, with local shops, restaurants, and pubs/bars easy to reach. Cleanliness and service were outstanding throughout.
