Kefalonitis Hotel Apartments

We arrived around 2:40-3:00 pm and had to wait because the room wasn't ready. When we finally got in, it was dirty: the furniture was dusty, dishes in the sink were dirty, the bed linen hadn't been changed, and there were ants. After we complained, staff changed just one duvet cover. They also dropped our towels on the floor before putting them back on the bed. At night, an air conditioner somewhere in the building was so loud it made our room walls vibrate. We woke at 5 a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep. Then, in the parking lot, a man who turned out to work at the hotel aggressively demanded our room number without introducing himself. He was rude and intimidating. Reception did nothing when we reported it. The hotel felt unsafe, unclean, noisy, and very poorly managed. Definitely not recommended.

The pool was good and there were lots of sunloungers, plus the pool bar was great, though its menu needs more options. The beds were comfortable. The hotel needs modernising and feels very old-fashioned. The apartment kitchen also needs proper cooking facilities and more worktop space.

We arrived on 21st June for 10 nights and stayed in the one-bedroom apartment, 201. The complex and rooms were very clean and tidy, with the rooms cleaned every day. There was a large pool and plenty of sunbeds. The staff were amazing, friendly, and always ready to help. It was a warm welcome from the start. It's about a 15-minute walk into Kato Paphos and the harbor. Would we stay again? Yes. I'd rate it 10 out of 10. Thanks to the kefalonitis staff, from John and debbie in room 201. The location made getting around really easy, with the bus station less than five minutes away and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We had a great stay in October, and the warm, friendly staff gave the place a family-run feel, especially the lady in the bar. Breakfast was a set menu, with plenty to choose from, and we were fine with that. It included one tea or coffee each, which seemed fair. Our room was in block B on the second floor. The furniture was a mix of old-fashioned and modern, and everything was clean. The bathroom was modern and had a strong shower. A few things could use some TLC, but for the price we paid, this was a lovely place. Just remember, it isn't a 5-star hotel, even if some people seem to expect one. We'd happily come back.
