Kentrikon 1924 Boutique Hotel Old Town

We were only there for one night, but had a great experience. The hotel is right in the heart of Old Paphos and close to a major bus station with direct service to the airport. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Paphos.

The staff apart from the owner were decent and sympathetic, though they had no power in front of him. After just one night, the owner kicked us out because we said we weren't happy with the room we were given. The website photos didn't match reality when it came to the rooms, and it wasn't basically what we'd paid for or the room shown in the pictures. I raised this calmly and politely, as all the staff saw, but the owner took it personally, became aggressive and showed no empathy. The way he handled it felt communistic. We travel often and have never had this happen before. It's up to you whether you want to risk staying here. It's a shame the rest of the staff were so decent.

My partner and I had such a good week here. The team were lovely and helpful, and we especially liked how quiet this part of Paphos is. Thanks to the lovely person I spoke with on WhatsApp about my necklaces. They just arrived!

The rooms are cleaned every day, and they provide helpful bathroom amenities. The hotel looks nice, and some of the staff are quite friendly. But the room sold as a double is extremely small, and the description of its balcony is misleading. There are no irons or ironing facilities either. The door locks at midnight, so you have to ring a bell to get in, which can be inconvenient.
