The staff were nice, but our room was old and hadn’t been cleaned. They gave us an old, dirty blanket and bedsheet.

I only stayed one night, and maybe the screaming woman, whether a guest or neighbor, was a one-off bit of bad luck. She yelled through the night, though, and you can hear every noise around you. The place felt old and not very clean, with green mold in my room and a greasy floor and toilet seat. The pool was closed. It also felt far from everything: the bus stop was a 15-minute walk up or down a hill, and with nothing much to see on the way it felt more like 30 minutes. Walking back at night wasn’t pleasant. Horrible, I wouldn’t do it.

We left after just one night and got no money back. It was a noisy, disappointing stay, with construction nearby and the place far from the center. The mattress was old and uncomfortable. I couldn’t shower properly: there was no hot water at first, I had to wait 15 minutes for warmer water, and the pressure was almost nonexistent. A disaster.

The only decent part was the very polite man at reception. From his reaction, this seemed to happen often. The room was small, stuffy, old and dirty. There was someone else’s hair on the pillowcase and under the sheet. I asked whether another room was available because the bedding was dirty. The owner didn’t apologize or offer another option, but asked if we were going to use the room right then and said to leave if we didn’t like it. So we left. They then asked us to cancel the reservation so we couldn’t post a review on Booking.com.
