The apartment was a good size, and the area is quiet, with some good bars and restaurants on Tomb of the Kings Road just a short walk away. That's about all I liked. The Booking.com description was way off. There's a record player but no needle, a cable TV that doesn't work, and a DVD player whose remote has no batteries. The patio barbecue had no tools or coals, and the hammock sits at handrail height next to a two-storey drop. The wardrobe safe can't be used, and the supposed coffee machine is an infuser. The air conditioning takes hours to cool the place, the kitchen units are old and battered, and the patio door jumps off its runner when you open it. The shower screen was fitted badly and won't close properly. The tiled floor was filthy, turning our feet or socks black. The pool is in the car park, surrounded by about 10 other apartment blocks. My biggest issue is that this is an unserviced apartment, so guests are expected to buy their own toilet paper. Someone came after six days to change the bed and supposedly clean. It was underwhelming overall, and it felt like the owner didn't care about guest satisfaction. A real shame.

The place was clean, and the balcony had a cosy spot to sit and relax. It was also a big plus that the beach was about 1 km away and the city centre around 500 m away. But our Booking reservation page listed things that were supposed to be included and weren't. The pool only stayed open until 7:30 PM, which seemed odd in Cyprus. There was sometimes a rotten-egg kind of smell coming from the bathroom pipes. Normally that wouldn't bother me much, but the toilet was close to the bedroom. The shower pressure was so low that my usual five-minute shower took over ten minutes, and I don't even have long hair.

The Love Shack was a lovely place to stay, clean and equipped with what we needed. We enjoyed having a pool and the communication was good. It's in a great spot near the city, harbour, bus stops, and shopping mall. There was also a vinyl record player and a DVD player with a handful of films, which was nice for relaxing. The price was very reasonable. Thanks for a wonderful time.

The owner was very kind and easy to reach. The apartment was comfortable and nice, with everything needed for a short stay. It could use a little refreshing, perhaps painting the walls. I recommend it.

It's a convenient location, very close to the mall, shops, and restaurants. The area felt a bit shady, though. It gets really warm without air conditioning, and the fridge made strange noises.
