We spent a year in a one-bedroom flat here after getting residency. The apartment itself was nice, and the complex and pool were kept in good shape. The noise was the hard part: dogs and donkeys from the rescue centre could be heard day and night. There was also a lot of construction happening, which made things dusty and loud.
The surroundings were lovely, with a large pool and plenty of loungers, and the owner was very professional. Our room was spacious and stocked with useful kitchen gear, including a blender, washing machine, toaster, large fridge and a decent grill. It was easy to find and well located, about 15 minutes from the shopping center or promenade.
There are plenty of cats around, including one that seemed to adopt us while we house-sat. The host was great and the property excellent. It may not be the usual kind of tourist apartment block, but we're a bit unusual ourselves, and it suited us.
Both pools were in excellent condition, and we could use either during our two-week stay. Our penthouse was spacious, clean and had a lovely, generous balcony. Fabulous place.
A quiet, clean place with a pool to enjoy. The beaches aren't too far away either. I'd recommend it.
