The location was the only good thing about this hotel. The rooms and pool were very dirty, and there was a construction site next door. We asked staff repeatedly to move us, and even though rooms were available, they refused without giving a reason. The staff were very nervous and treated us like we were unwelcome foreigners. Only the cleaning ladies were kind. At 100£ a night, we expected air conditioning to be included, but had to pay extra. I've stayed in dozens of 5 star hotels where it came without an extra charge. The safe also cost extra, which felt ridiculous. If they want more money, they can just say so, I'll donate! The owner should think about the prices for everything. I'm glad they didn't tax the air we breathed. Don't stay here if you want a nice, comfortable holiday. Thanks for reading!

The pictures on booking.com looked impressive, but none of them matched what we found in real life. From the start, the hotel manager didn't welcome us properly. He had a very bad attitude toward customers, and got angry and aggressive when we disagreed with him. We were actually attacked by the manager, and as tourists we wanted at least to feel welcome. The pool was very dirty. Our bathroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly, and the bed was so hard it felt like a rock. My husband had back pain after we got home. There’s no lift, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs without any staff to help. Air conditioning costs extra, which I'd never experienced before. This was my first and last time at Tasmaria.

Our friends had booked a room, and they had asked in advance and agreed that we'd come in to use their bathroom. After about 15 minutes, the hotel manager came to the door, shouted at us to leave immediately because the room was supposedly booked for one person, and called us liars for supposedly using their good will. We tried to explain, but he cut us off before we could finish. The receptionist was nice. The hotel manager was crazy.

I couldn't sleep at all because the windows had huge gaps, so road noise carried into the room through the night and morning. Repair work started in the morning too. The furniture was old, the shower was dirty, and air conditioning came at an extra charge. I don't recommend this place!

The furnishings are a little dated, though the rooms are still comfortable. We had a very positive stay, with a lovely pool, a great location, and excellent linen-changing service.
