Waterside

The pool was superb, and the apartment had all the modern conveniences we needed, plus great air conditioning. Across the road, we had a good view of the harbour and seafront, just a three-minute walk away. Parking was provided, and although there was no staff on site, someone was always available in the adjacent apartments. There are only about a dozen self-catering apartments, so it felt like a nice change from the local hotels with hundreds of guests. The price was very competitive too. The one downside was the building site next door: we had two very early mornings of noise from heavy machinery. I’d definitely stay again once that construction is finished.

Everything we needed in Paphos was nearby, and the room and roof terrace had great views. The staff were warm and super friendly, and everything was squeaky clean. I had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!

The only thing I’d change is the lack of a do-not-disturb sign for the door. The cleaner came early each day, and a couple of times we had to tell her in person not to clean. A simple sign to hang up would help. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and helpful, even sorting out a last-minute car rental and flight cancellation. The location was fantastic, just a few minutes’ walk from a sandy beach and other amenities, and the air conditioning in the room worked really well.

The beach and sea are right nearby, and there’s a bus stop directly across the road for buses to the harbour, King's Avenue Mall, or the water park. Walking to the harbour takes only about ten minutes, either by the sea or along the road. Traffic can be constantly noisy, especially the motorcycles and quads, but it didn’t bother us much. The apartment was beautiful, recently built, and clean and modern throughout. It had all the mod cons, including electronically controlled lights and curtains. There were a couple of minor snagging issues because it’s new, but they didn’t spoil our stay. The staff, including the cleaning ladies, were exceptional and quick to respond to questions or problems. They cleaned daily and changed the linen every two days.
