Captain Pier Hotel

We’ve just returned from a perfect stay. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food had lots of great options. Our Duplex Room with a Jacuzzi worked perfectly for a family with kids. There were lots of thoughtful touches: booking restaurants was easy, chocolates came round in the afternoon, and the room and jacuzzi were cleaned thoroughly. The allocated sunbeds meant no early scramble, and getting around with a pram was easy. We can’t fault the place and are already looking at booking another stay!

We’ve just come back from an eight-day break, and I can see why the hotel has five stars. The service was excellent and nothing we asked for was any trouble; whatever we needed was provided straight away. Vera at reception was especially helpful. The gardens are beautifully landscaped around several pools, about five in all, and having sunbeds allocated for the whole stay was a bonus. There’s an adults-only pool as well. Our room was a light, airy sea-view deluxe on the second floor. The beach is lovely and clean, with crystal-clear, very safe water, and it’s right across from the hotel, just a step away. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby along the strip. I’d definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was amazing, freshly prepared, and we could eat on the veranda overlooking the pools and beach. The three pools were great, and once you choose your allocated sunbeds on arrival, they’re yours for the whole holiday, so there’s no early wake-up to claim a spot. The rooms were spacious, with very comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms, and amazing ocean views. The hotel is right on beautiful Protaras beach and just a two-minute walk from the restaurants and bars. From the moment we walked in, everything felt amazing, and the five-star rating is well deserved. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and we’ll definitely return. Thanks to all the staff who went out of their way to make our stay perfect.

The beach is right beside the hotel, with clear water and plenty of water activities, and the Protaras strip is just outside with lots of shops and things happening. We had our own loungers for the week, enjoyed the pools, and were brought fruit and cold flannels while we sat by the water. The bar had entertainment, and the band and the pianist at dinner were both lovely. There’s also more evening entertainment at the sister hotel next door. Our room was roomy and spotless, with great air conditioning and everything we needed. The minibar was stocked with drinks and snacks when we arrived, and the coffee machine pods were replenished each day. Housekeeping came daily as we’d requested, left water and chocolates in the evening, and checked whether we needed anything else. We arrived after 10 pm to a cocktail at reception. Our bags were taken up, and sandwiches and fruit had been left in the room in case we were hungry after the journey. We were on full board, and the food was amazing, with plenty of choice at the buffet and at the restaurants off site. Drinks were fairly priced, and we enjoyed the cocktails and wine. One evening the managers invited us for drinks and cakes, which was a nice chance to ask for tips about the hotel and area. We were also offered a discount and a free spa visit, but didn’t take it up because we had our teenage son with us and didn’t want him to miss out. The staff all worked so hard to make our stay feel special. We loved every minute of the week and didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to come back. Everything at the sunrise pearl was spot on, and we couldn’t fault it. Thank you x
