Protaras Fig Tree Bay Suite

We spent 12 of our 16 nights without proper sleep. Our room faced Starlight Gardens & Hall, and weddings there went on until 6 a.m. with loud folk music. On nights without a wedding, music from the rooftop lounge bar in the Revo building still reached us clearly, and it stayed open until 3 a.m. The rooftop ventilation also made the room stuffy, while traffic noise came through because every window faced the highway. Closing the windows didn’t help. There were also villas rented out by the day, adding to the disruption. Ants swarmed anything we left outside the fridge, so we had to buy ant repellent. We were expected to clean the room and buy our own toilet paper, and the linens were changed only once every week or two. The photos show parts of the room and a night wedding. I’ve been in Cyprus for seven years, and this was the worst choice I’ve made. I’d advise finding somewhere else to stay.
