Sunrise Jade - Adults Only

The location is fab, and it was very relaxing apart from the boats going out into the bay to see the turtles. They come in an endless stream, with loud music. We had full board, and the lunch menu was much better than the dinner buffet. The food was good quality, though the variety wasn’t always great. Most of the staff were polite and attentive, and the dining team, reception, and housekeeping were excellent. A couple of bar staff were really rude. I’ve never been told off before just for trying to order a drink. The reserved sunbeds take the stress out of finding a spot, but you may not get the bed you actually want. We had a lovely holiday and would stay again.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t great, and if you book a swim-up room, be aware that the balcony and pool won’t get sun after about 1 p.m. Those were minor things for us, though. My partner and I had the best holiday we’ve ever had and hope to come back for more snorkelling with our turtle friends. The hotel is right on the seafront in a gorgeous spot, the pool was lovely, and the food quality was incredible. All the staff were amazing and helpful, and we felt really well looked after. We had such an amazing time here. It’s adults-only, so it’s quiet, but great bars and restaurants are still close by. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are clean, the food won’t disappoint, and I especially recommend the breakfast omelette bar. The staff are lovely, friendly, and helpful. You keep the same sunbed for your whole stay, so there’s no need to reserve one. We’d definitely stay again!

Breakfast was great, though the rest of the food was the only thing that let the hotel down. Maybe that’s common in a tourist town. We had a lovely sea-view room, and it was definitely worth it for the view. The staff were very good, and I enjoyed a couple of treatments at the nice spa. The hotel is well placed for walks along the coast to lovely bays and beaches. There are a couple of small ones right nearby, with completely clear water that’s great for snorkelling. They’re much quieter than the bigger beaches like fig tree or vrissi, so they’re perfect for a swim away from the crowds and noise.
