Sunrise Residences 1 Villa

The villa’s location was lovely, with markets, restaurants, bars and the beach nearby. Even with plenty of families and children around, it was quiet and relaxing. The jacuzzi worked perfectly, and we really enjoyed it. For what you pay, though, the interior could offer more. We found dirt and traces left by previous guests in different places. There was dust on the furniture, especially in the kitchen, and the sofas were stained and dirty. The rooms had an odd smell, particularly one that smelled strongly of cigarettes. We found ash all over the bed there, and keeping the windows open all day didn’t clear the smell. The curtains were damaged, leaving us with limited privacy because the house opposite faced our bedrooms. A door leading to the pool was also broken and couldn’t be left open. Several things in the bedrooms made our stay less comfortable: some spotlights kept switching on and off, all the bed frames were broken, and the light switches were beside the beds. None of the bedroom doors had keys, and there was nowhere to put our things or get ready, like a vanity or desk. We also didn’t like that there were no TVs in the bedrooms, especially for the price. The terrace furniture had been moved to a corner by the pool, so we couldn’t enjoy the upstairs view. The alarm system wasn’t working, and the cameras didn’t seem to work either. The location is charming, but the interior was just good.
