Tsokkos Protaras Hotel

The location is fantastic, right by the beach and close to the Protarus strip for evening walks. All-inclusive food and service were consistently good every day, and exceeded what I'd expected. The communal areas were clean and tidy, there was a great pool and outdoor area, and I found the staff approachable, helpful, and very good at English. Our room was very average and definitely due for refurbishment. The bed was uncomfortable, and the cleaning was appalling. It wasn't changed for over a week. I complained at reception on days 4, 5, and 6, but the cleaners just made it each time. They changed towels and made the bed, but didn't sweep the room or replace the tea and coffee. Cups were only rinsed, and still had stains. The unchanged bed was the worst part. I've never stayed somewhere with such subpar cleaning. The all-inclusive package also came with extra charges at the hotel: €24 for WiFi for two people for one week, beach towels, and an extra room key card. Parts of the hotel are run down and need renewal, and the room cleaning needs serious attention.

We had two great weeks here and will be back next year. The food was really good, with lots to choose from, and both the drinks and staff at the pool bar were excellent. Our room stayed comfortable, though it could do with an upgrade. We got fresh towels every day.

They let us into our room two hours early, and you can rent beach towels. There are also live music nights on certain days, plus a pool, billiards, table tennis, and more. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and proactive, and the food is phenomenal. They make you feel like anything is possible.

The beach was clean, and the nearby port had lots of interesting cruises. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially at reception. The rooms could use a refresh, but the delicious, varied food more than made up for that. I had a good stay.
