Villa Sunset 2

The location was fantastic, about a five-minute walk from beaches and plenty of pubs and restaurants. The villa felt away from the busy areas and looked out over a field instead of other villas or hotels. There was a squeaky windmill right outside, but we soon got used to it. Lidl is around a 30-minute walk, or a five to ten-minute drive. The area was also pleasantly quiet for summer, and the restaurants had excellent playgrounds, so it suited families with young children well. Our little boy loved his child-themed room, and the bedrooms, furniture and decor were modern. The pool was lovely and clean, and its cover had just been replaced. The back garden had both sunny and shaded spots at different times of day. The kitchen was clean and adequate for us, though there was no microwave. A friendly maintenance man came every few days to clean the pool and deal with small issues. The agents handling check-in and problems were easy to reach and sorted most things quickly. The air conditioner in the main bedroom took a few days to fix, which meant some uncomfortable nights in the heat. It happened over the weekend, so I can understand it was harder to get tradespeople in. None of the bedroom doors shut properly because the locks were faulty. Some small finishing details had also been missed, like ridge tiles on the front and rear steps. My little boy banged his foot on those edges a few times. There was a squeaky windmill outside, but we got used to the sound. We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend the villa and area to other families with young kids.

We rented a villa here and found it comfortable.
