Elyssia Hotel

The food was terrific, with lots of Greek and Cypriot dishes to choose from each day, prepared by our lovely cook Antonis and his team. The staff were super helpful and polite, easy to approach, and always willing to help. They could even drive you somewhere if there was a need. I had a great time here and would totally recommend it!

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but after eating downstairs, we wished we had. After a day hiking and visiting local churches and monasteries, we stopped in for meze. More than 20 local, homemade dishes followed, and every one was incredibly delicious. Easily the best meal we had in Cyprus, and probably the best meal we’ve ever had anywhere. The host was so warm and welcoming that we stayed well after eating to talk about our trip and her village. We also got to see inside and the amazing cross stitching on the walls, done by the owner herself. It all gives the restaurant and hotel such a wonderful, home-like feel. After only an hour or two with her, I feel like I have a Cypriot grandmother, and I already miss spending time with her.

I spent 8 days at the Elyssia Hotel, and it was a really lovely experience! The staff were amazing, kind, and friendly. They treated us like one big family. There are outstanding views all around, and lots of things nearby to explore and learn about the village. 10/10.

Everything is within walking distance, and the hotel works well for families or holidays with friends. The rooms are beautiful and have lovely views. There’s a gorgeous terrace and all the equipment needed. The staff speak English. Thank you to the hotel!
