E Hotel Spa & Resort Cyprus

We rented a car, so being in a quiet area right by the sea worked well for us. Our room had a sea view, a comfortable bed and pillows, and decent space. For what you pay, eHotel in Larnaca offers special value. We really couldn't ask for more. The pool is pretty and spacious, with a fun little waterfall. Staff were responsive, and the gym stayed open at night, so I could work out after my daughter had gone to sleep. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including several cheeses and, on some days, cooked Halloumi, eggplant, mushrooms, or zucchini. The fresh, high quality fruit and vegetables mattered most to us, and there were nuts too, so healthier options were covered.

The worst part was breakfast, where we found worms in the dates our son nearly ate. I’m glad we got out of there in one piece. The room’s power kept cutting out, so the fridge was unusable. The pool was dirty and full of leaves, and the “gym” had no working equipment and was covered in spider webs. Everything was dirty, and the spa facilities had been left to fall apart. This was probably my worst hotel experience, and I don’t think the place should be operating. I’d tell anyone visiting the area to avoid booking unless there’s a major renovation.

The restaurant was the worst part. I ordered three different meals, and couldn't eat even one. I honestly felt like I might end up spending the night in hospital. The location was awkward and hard to get to. The building was very old, cleanliness was terrible, and the rooms didn't even have proper outlets for charging a phone. It was so empty I didn't see another person the whole time. The worst experience of my life. Even €5 a night would be too much for this hotel.

The lobby looks great after its renovation, and my room was clean and spacious, if a little dated. The rooms and corridors could really use a refresh. I stayed at E Hotel Spa & Resort for a night before an early flight from Larnaca, and it did the job fine for a short stay at a fair price.
