The neighborhood is a little run down, with a couple of empty properties, but that made it lovely and peaceful in the evenings. We weren’t planning to eat out every night, so walking distance to local places wasn’t an issue. We had two hire cars and getting around was easy. We booked through Solmar Villas and would happily book with them again. There were eight of us and plenty of space, with four double or twin rooms. The villa was clean, and a cleaner came halfway through our visit. It stayed nice and cool inside, and the downstairs air conditioning was fab. Outside, there’s a good-sized private pool, sunbeds and plenty of shade. On arrival, a welcome pack with bread, milk and teabags kept us going until we got to the shops. The kitchen is excellent, though it wasn’t especially well stocked with everyday cooking equipment. We managed fine without extras, and there are two BBQs outside, perfect for kebabs.
