Mare Paphos

The quiet pool was a lovely place to unwind, with plenty of loungers plus its own bar and snacks. We never had trouble finding a sunbed at the main pool either, despite my having worried about it after reading reviews. Our room was spotless when we arrived and had a great sea view. Even though we got in late, there was buffet food available, so we weren’t left hungry after travelling. The buffet had lots of choice at every meal, including a kids’ section, and the dining areas were very clean. Staff were kind and cheerful, and the à la carte meals were delicious with generous portions and desserts. The staff made this week especially memorable. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to help. Ausma and Martina deserve a special thank you for looking after us at the bar each evening and adding thoughtful extras for our anniversary. We expected a good stay from the reviews, but it was even better than we’d hoped. Beautiful sunsets too, and we’re already planning to come back next year.

The food was delicious wherever we ate, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. We’d booked two speciality restaurants but cancelled one because the buffet was so good. Green and Grill was excellent too. Even the tomato salad won us over, though neither of us usually likes tomatoes. We arrived just before midnight and the trainee who checked us in was friendly and professional. From that first moment, we felt welcome and relaxed. Our suite was spotless, with a comfortable lounge, a big balcony, a spacious bedroom and the comfiest bed. It had two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a whirlpool bath, as well as plenty of storage, a Nespresso machine, iron and board, safe, and a fridge stocked with water and two snack boxes. The weather was lovely, and every staff member we met was helpful and welcoming. We really didn’t want to leave after such a relaxing week.

The Guest Experience Team made our visit feel special from start to finish. They were kind, attentive and clearly cared about the little details. Their professionalism and warmth turned a lovely stay into one I won’t forget. The hotel is beautiful and so well maintained, but it was the team’s hospitality that really stood out. Thank you to everyone on the Guest Experience Team for making us feel valued and welcome. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

The main bar was a highlight of the evenings. Martina from the Czech Republic was always smiling, attentive and put customers first, which made every visit a pleasure. It was my first trip to Cyprus, and I spent seven days on an all-inclusive 5-star holiday. The hotel itself is stunning and the service was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the customer experience team made us feel welcome. Ausma took especially good care of us throughout the stay and made sure everything went smoothly. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out. The staff made us feel looked after and valued the whole time. I couldn’t have asked for a better first trip to Cyprus, and I hope to return.
