A traditional two-storey house in a charming village, with complete privacy. It’s in a great location for exploring western cyprus, and at 600 metres above sea level it’s cooler than the coast. The host is very friendly.

We’d love to come back soon. The house was beautiful, and the host even left us a bag of logs so we could have a fire on a cold winter evening. It’s in a quiet, picturesque village and makes a great base for exploring western Cyprus.

Michalis’ is a great base for a Cyprus holiday. The house was clean, cozy and lovely, right in a beautiful village that’s great for hiking and cycling. The owner was so friendly and helpful, he even rescued us from going hungry over the Easter break. I really recommend staying here!

The place felt so happy and special, and I’ve stayed in plenty of places over my 61 years. It’s wonderfully clean and fresh, with an old-fashioned character that’s been thoughtfully updated for comfort. My host gave me a lovely welcome, including fresh cherries from his own trees elsewhere. There are three places to eat in town. I’ve only tried Yannis Tavern so far and loved it. I feel I ought to try the others too, but since I’m not being paid to review, I’ll probably just do what I fancy. The patio is very private, as nobody is staying in the other apartment. The balcony is open to view, but the scenery is beautiful, with hills on one side and the polished stone street on the other. The town is all stone streets and mostly stone houses. I don’t understand how the streets are polished without being slippery, but they feel lovely underfoot and look much the same. A great choice for a stay.
