Villa Morpho in Peyia

The villa is tucked away from the busy main strip, so it was peaceful, yet we could walk to the bars and restaurants in about ten minutes. A supermarket is only three minutes away, with Phil's bar & restaurant on site. Coral Bay beach took us around 30 minutes on foot, and a taxi back cost about €12 one way. We really liked the garden, full of flowers and olive, fig, pomegranate, and date trees, plus the sea views from the balconies. The rooms are a good size, air conditioning is throughout, and the ensuite facilities were great. The pool is a good size and was cleaned regularly. Still, some of our swimwear picked up a slight green stain after swimming, even though the water stayed clean during our visit. Another review on James Villa's website mentioned green pool water, so perhaps the owner could check again with the pool maintenance company. The owner was delightful and checked every couple of days that we were happy. His suggestions for nearby places to visit were helpful. The outdoor BBQ was great, though the kitchen could use more equipment for catering for eight, especially another oven shelf. The villa needed a bit more tidying when we arrived. Nothing major, but the cleaning wasn't quite up to scratch. Even with those minor issues, I'd recommend it.
