The staff really made this stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and we felt well looked after across the hotel. Bernd gave us a personal, welcoming greeting and shared interesting things about the hotel and island. At breakfast, Andreas and the rest of the team were attentive and got each day off to a lovely start. Service in the restaurant and at reception was great too. We also liked the atmosphere, especially the village-style layout. We preferred it to the more modern block-sytel building, though both areas are nice and have their own advantages. It would help if the website explained the differences more clearly when people book. The food was very good, and there was lots of choice at breakfast. They also handled requests for things outside the menu without any fuss. A few à la carte dishes, like the vegetables, were occasionally not quite cooked right, but that’s a pretty minor complaint. We’d definitely book again.

Dinner was the letdown: the buffet was overpriced and had ridiculously few choices. We could have eaten better at any high-end restaurant in Limassol. Everything else felt really special. The rooms were amazing and spacious, the bathroom amenities were lovely, and the views were breathtaking. The service was full of care, from concierge George to waiter Stefan. Everyone made us feel welcome ❤️

The indoor pool spoiled what could have been a five-star weekend for us. We’d saved for quite a while to afford one night of luxury with our three-year-old, but checked in at 14:00 and were told children could only use the heated pool before 14:00. The water was cool too, and a few degrees warmer would have made it pleasant. Our excited little boy lasted just 20-25 minutes before he was really cold. We only got in to watch him, not to enjoy the swim ourselves. That’s a shame, because this is one of the finest hotels I’ve visited, and I’ve been to a lot. The surroundings are beautiful, the rooms excellent and clean, the restaurants serve good food, and the bay is peaceful, well away from city noise.

The views were breathtaking, and seeing all the cats around was charming. I also enjoyed playing tennis, although during our February stay there was a sewerage-type smell coming from the court. They put on a cool drone show for Valentine’s Day, and housekeeping was outstanding. Breakfast was excellent, but dinner could use more variety. The hotel is quite remote, so I’d strongly recommend hiring a car. We waited about 30 minutes for a taxi each time. Even with those downsides, I’d happily give it five stars.
