Pendeli Resort

The biggest problem was the sound carrying through the rooms. There was no soundproofing at all, and we could hear everyone and everything around us. For a premium price for a one-night stay, the lack of quiet and privacy was a real letdown. We ate dinner at the hotel, but the food was very basic and low quality. At the bar, we tried to order beers and whiskeys listed on the menu, only to be told they weren't available. Management should remove items they don't carry, since this is frustrating for guests. There were good points at Pendeli Resort in Platres during our two-night getaway: the hotel was generally clean and had a nice vibe. The outdoor pool was lovely, and the high-end gym was a great bonus. Breakfast had a nice range of choices, including a station for custom omelets, which was great if you like protein. Still, the noise and poor food and drinks left me unsure whether I'd stay there again.

The only small snag was the shower, where the water kept shifting from hot to cold. Apart from that, the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding, and breakfast was fresh with a very good range. We had a wonderful stay, would definitely recommend it.

We were sorry to have only one night here and would happily have stayed longer. The whole place looks stunning, especially the reception, decorated tastefully for Christmas and feeling really cozy. The bar was another comfortable spot, perfect for a drink and a book. The gym may be the most impressive hotel gym I've seen, with everything you could want, including two squat racks. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Thomas at dinner. We'd absolutely recommend it.

The A La Card menu had lots of choices, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was very good too, and the facilities were excellent. My wife and I were celebrating my 80th Birthday at Pendeli Resort in Platres. We had a very enjoyable stay and had been here before. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and sits in peaceful mountain surroundings. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely recommend it for a relaxing break in the Troodos mountains.
