The Roost

Nikki and Gez made the holiday special with their warm, personal care and willingness to help with anything we needed. The villa was clean, comfortable, and restful, and the pool was gorgeous. The countryside views around Cyprus were outstanding. Thank you both for a lovely stay. We’re definitely coming back next year. XXXX

The Olive Tree is a lovely restaurant just down the road, and the hosts at both the B & B and restaurant are wonderful. I’ve stayed here a few times now, and it feels like coming home each time. Such a peaceful haven.

A beautiful hillside escape in Cyprus.

We paid a lot and came away feeling it wasn’t worth a cent. The place is in the middle of nowhere, with no decent view from its uncultivated surroundings. It takes 45 minutes to get to the town of Chrysochous and 50 minutes to Coral Bay. From the moment we arrived, the instruments started, and all the rules full of “don'ts” and “no”s put us in a bad mood. There was no nearby garbage can, so we had to carry rubbish 100 meters out to the street. Smoking meant going 20 meters from the veranda to an uncovered area. The TVs didn’t support USB for the kids’ cartoons, despite what the advert said, and there was no antenna for Cypriot channels. When we asked for a motor for the spit, they first said to turn it by hand, then told us to go buy one. It felt like depreciation to Zenid. They seemed focused on extra charges, like having the A/C on with the windows open. Their behavior would definitely have been different if they were Cypriots. What do you expect from the English! Don’t you dare go. I warned you!
