Clean, quiet, and cheap, with a very nice spot right across from the beach.

The location is a real blessing if you’re happy without big-town amenities. The beach is 200m away, just across the road, and we swam there at 7:00 each morning. Everything is close, even without a car. Latchi gets lively in high season. Nikos was a generous, welcoming, helpful, and engaging homeowner. Apartments 101 and 102, especially upstairs, are well equipped and newly renovated, with a huge terrace that was lovely for sitting out on cool evenings. We cooked some meals and went to a taverna about every three days. We’ll be back in October and hope to enjoy it just as much.

There’s plenty of room indoors and outside, and the apartment has a well-equipped kitchen, a large shower, and a separate toilet. We used the air conditioners to warm the place at the end of March, and there were plenty of blankets. It also came with shower gel, a microwave, kettle, toaster, large fridge, oven, good Wi-Fi, and an old barbecue outside, which we used. There was a family of five or six in the same type of apartment next door, and free parking beside the building. The apartment looks a little dated, but it was fine for us. The staff were friendly, and the beach is nearby. The restaurant across the street is very good, and lots of locals eat there. We happened to see a celebration with singing men and traditionally dancing women, which was a real treat.

A clean, well-kept apartment block with its own pool and tennis court. It’s a purpose-built two-storey place with a slightly quirky Mediterranean feel and a nice sea view.
