The people made this stay for us. Everyone was so welcoming and seemed to really want us to have a great time, from Timor the GM and Alex the bar manager with the belly 😜😜, to Alexey the shift manager, the waitresses at the resto who felt like our Cyprus mamas, the British pigtails lady at the bar, the Italian resto staff, Marco from Italy, the lifeguard and security person. We usually forget names, so remembering so many says a lot. I also loved chatting with the main waiter/manager from the Italian resto. We booked spontaneously the night before arriving and stayed three nights. The location is top notch, the room was quiet and very spacious, the mats were wow, and the shower was great too. The pool and food were amazing, and the drinks were high quality and generous. When we got there close to 10pm, the resto was already closed, but they made an effort to get us snacks from the bar, where we met Alex. When they saw I was still hungry, they found a way to bring more food. There were a couple of small issues, as the resort is new. The aircon in room 185 would suddenly stop after a few hours and make noisy machinery "moans" during the night. The toilet bowl was too small, so sometimes when you peed it splashed back at you 😅 For a resort that had only been open a week, they did an amazing job. You could see how well they treated the staff and how happy everyone seemed to work there, and that good feeling was infectious. We’ll definitely come back ❤️

The hotel is new, and we expected a little more, but things were fine until we booked a boat trip through the hotel. We were told there’d be a one hour swimming stop, but it lasted only 35 to 40 minutes. The crew were rude and wouldn’t answer questions. I wouldn’t recommend booking that trip. The harbour is lovely and has lots of boat tours, so go there and check the reviews.

The facilities are five star and the food was very good. A few staff members were exceptional, but most need a lot more training to support this hotel. Even though the hotel was empty, they wouldn’t let us check in an hour early.

The room was excellent, and the sea view and private pool were fantastic. But you present this as a five star hotel and charge five star prices, while the service and amenities didn’t match that at all. It felt like customers were being ripped off. More than half the bars were shut, and the ones open served drinks only, with no snacks. The outdoor terrace fans didn’t work. There were no bathrobes in the room or elsewhere in the hotel. For four of us, we got only two pairs of slippers and three towels. There was no toothbrush holder, and the toilet door wouldn’t close properly, though I hear that’s a "known feature" here. The walk back uphill from the beach was scorching, with no greenery around because the saplings at this new hotel have only just been planted. Trash wasn’t cleared on time, and the extra bed came without bed linen.
