Polis 1907 by Louis Hotels

The staff were all friendly, and Belal especially made us feel welcome and looked after from check-in to check-out. Our rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and we enjoyed the welcome drinks left there with friends in the cozy courtyard. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and was delicious. Definitely try the warm, flaky, decadent croissants. There are souvenir shops nearby and lots of lively restaurants within walking distance. Around the corner, we also found The Arches Artisan Gift Shop, with lovely, unusual art, gifts, and cards. The beaches are a short drive away, which was handy. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We love the food and come to the restaurant as much as anything else. The menu has a solid Japanese fusion selection, and the staff work hard to make dining enjoyable. The decor has a smart look with traditional Cypriot style. The location is spot on, right in the middle of Polis’s restaurant district, with parking on site.

The service was really good, and the Egyptian staff member was outstanding, so kind and always ready to help. We loved the patio with its tables and the sushi restaurant inside the hotel. Breakfast was great, too. Even though there’s a menu, you don’t pay extra when breakfast is included. It’s a beautiful historic hotel, with modern details that respect the original building. Our room was lovely, very clean, and had a super comfortable bed, a great shower, and good AC. A great experience overall.

The welcome and service were wonderful, and the renovated little hotel is beautiful, right in the center of Polis. Our room was clean, with an extremely comfy bed and lots of little extras. Breakfast had a great selection and was amazing, and the restaurant is worth a visit. Good value for money. I’d recommend it as a base for exploring the area.
