Y & P Latchi Hotel

We stayed four nights at the beginning of May in this 10-room hotel. I'd suggest asking for a harbour-view room or top suite if one is available. We had room 107, which was very clean, serviced daily, and had plenty of storage and hangers. Towels were supplied and changed every two days. The balcony view over the harbour was stunning and kept my husband busy for hours. There were two large mirrors, as mentioned in previous reviews, and the bathroom and shower were fabulous. There's no safe. We brought our own kettle, tea bags, and 3-in-1 coffee. The fridge was handy for milk and cold drinks, with a small freezer. A supermarket was a two-minute walk away. Local restaurants serve huge portions, and Wok and Walk was a great Chinese option. The beach walk to Polis central square was 7500 meters each way. The boat trip was excellent, and we got a discount for staying at the hotel. We had no trouble parking and didn't use the car once we'd arrived. There was a lot of evening bustle, but it quieted down by 11 pm, and we weren't bothered by any undue noise. Would definitely recommend.

This was one of the worst stays I've had. The hotel was dirty, and at 7am I woke to a strong sewage smell. It was so bad that we decided to leave. We'd planned this family getaway for my father's 60th birthday, so I was very displeased.

Friendly staff, but the hotel is small and a bit expensive. Even the deluxe room looked out onto a parking lot, factory roofs, and an air conditioning system. It didn't feel like good value for money. Compared with cheaper hotels nearby, I can't see a reason to stay overnight here.

They gave me very generous help with my requests, and I left the hotel feeling like a satisfied guest.
