Pomos is gorgeous, with the sea and mountains making for breathtaking views. Nysa8 is in a quiet spot away from the busy tourist areas, and I’d gladly return, especially for a family holiday. The house felt like home and had everything we needed. It’s a little dated and traditional inside, but the views more than made up for that. The communal pool is shared with other villas, though it was quiet and much larger than some hotel pools. There isn’t much nearby: small local supermarkets have limited choices, so check their hours, and the nearest large supermarket is about a 20-minute drive.

We stayed at Nysa 7, a very quiet place with a lovely setting. The balcony off the bedroom looks over the pool and out to sea, and Polis is about a 15-minute drive away. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. There was even a welcome pack with coffee, milk, wine and chocolates, plus Christmas decorations and a tree waiting for us. We also picked fresh lemons from the terrace tree. Perfect!

The sunsets in Pomos are stunning from every vantage point. It’s one of the most beautiful places in Cyprus, where the coast and mountains come together.

The house was good enough and very clean, though it could use a toaster and microwave, and the fridge felt small for a three-bedroom place. The view was beautiful, and it’s a peaceful, quiet spot near both the sea and the mountains. The staff were very friendly.

A peaceful place to relax. It’s old and could use a little work, but it was spotless throughout, and all the linen was freshly cleaned and pressed. I wouldn’t regret going, and I’d love to return.
