Dinner was excellent and good value, which made the stay easy to recommend, especially in the warmer months. The place has a stylish B&B feel and sits in a lovely rural spot. I was the only guest on a cold, rainy February night, so that may have made things unusual. The room was cozy, but never really warmed up, though the balcony and view were great. Getting there and parking can be tricky depending on your car’s size.

The owner and the service guy were so friendly and helpful. It was a lovely break from the city noise. Breakfast was really cold, so they brought a heater over to my favorite desk, which was very kind. The drive out there can be a bit challenging, so keep that in mind.

The owner was a lovely man and couldn't do enough for us. If you're looking for peace and quiet, it's a lovely place. It's basic and comfortable, so don't expect bells and whistles. The next village is about 6 minutes away by car, with plenty to eat and a nice pub if you're English. We live over here, so it was a nice change.

The staff were polite, helpful, and full of useful information. When we mentioned the grapes at breakfast, the manager cut a bunch for us. We stayed two nights while visiting the mountains. It's an older style hotel, with a nice little pool looking out over the village. Breakfast in the courtyard, shaded by grape vines, was really nice.

The traditional Cypriot food came close to the best I've ever eaten, and I'm so glad we chose Ambelikos for our night near the observatory. We had exactly the room we wanted, simple but with beautiful balcony views. There was a fire if we wanted one, and the jacuzzi bath was a welcome way to warm up after an afternoon exploring the Christmas markets. Our host was exceptionally helpful and gracious, and couldn't have done more for us. Thanks for a wonderful visit. I hope we get to come back.
