The pool, tennis court, sunbeds, restaurant and barbecue area are the brighter parts of the complex, and the pool and court are looked after. We lived there for 1.5 years, though, and found the setting very inconvenient. Outside the complex you're straight onto a road lined with similar buildings or open fields. There are no pavements or streetlights, so going for a walk nearby at night is out of the question. The paths through the fields have a lovely view, but barking dogs made them feel a bit scary too. There were also lots of stray cats around the complex. We love animals, and while we lived there we took some to the vet, fed them regularly and helped volunteers. The manager didn't address the problem, so the cats kept having kittens. When they couldn't find food, they rummaged through rubbish and drank from the pool. The manager's response was just to chase them away. Conversations with the manager about the cats were always tense.
