Themis House

It's peaceful and quiet here, a very nice place to get away from the cities. The staff were kind, especially the host's Mrs Yiannoulla, who was cheerful and very open-hearted.

There aren't many food or snack options, so bring what you need. Each room has a fridge and there are one or two small cooking hobs, though utensils are very limited. I also didn't realize breakfast cost extra, and we paid quite a bit for a cup of tea, a slice of toast, and about three grapes. That took away from the stay a little. Still, the mountain views are stunning, the accommodation is comfortable, and the host is lovely. It feels like visiting your auntie. Finding a place in the mountains with a swimming pool is rare, and this was a great stay high up in the mountains.

Mohammed made our Christmas Eve visit so enjoyable. He was sweet, helpful, and accommodating, and managed to fulfill all our wishes even though our family group of 14 wasn't easy to host. It was such an awesome stay, worth more than five stars to me. The location is beautiful, with stunning mountain views. The rooms are comfortable and well prepared, with kitchenettes equipped for cooking, plus shampoo, conditioner, towels, kettles, coffee, and a selection of tea. There are tables and chairs on the pretty patios, where the children could roam and the adults could enjoy Christmas dinner. I highly recommend it for the staff, comfortable rooms, and welcoming atmosphere.

The view from Themis House is hard to beat, though it's not especially close to restaurants. The area is cool, with several walking trails, and we'd happily return. We had a lovely stay in early November. Mohamed was welcoming and easy to chat with, whether we were having coffee on the balcony or drinks by the pool. Our room had lots of space, kitchen amenities, a large bathroom, plenty of closet space, and we slept well. I enjoyed a soak in the tub, though it's really just a large tub, not an American-style hot tub.
