I’m here with my school, and I’ve never had anyone go through my personal belongings without the teachers knowing. We went on a day trip, then came back to find someone had been in our room and searched our things. They swore at and yelled at our teachers. The explanation was that they suspected we were damaging something, so they entered the locked teachers’ room too. No one, not even the teachers, knew this was going to happen. Searching rooms like that isn’t normal. It’s like someone searching you on the street because they suspect you of something. At normal hotels and guesthouses, rooms are checked before departure with a teacher supervising.

We stayed in Bedřichov with our little son, and a cot was already set up for him. The accommodation was very nice, and the half-board meals were really good.
