We were worried after reading the reviews, but the place turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The rooms were cozy and clean, the bed linen smelled fresh, and the food was good.

In a word, a disaster. I've been to eight different places with school groups, and this was the worst. Breakfast was the same every day, a roll with ham and margarine, plus yogurt with cereal. One day they served sausages. At least the children got some vegetables, a small plus. The food was generally terrible, bland, and not very balanced. I know it's not high-end dining, but ordinary food can still be cooked well. The schnitzels with mash the day before departure were good. The rooms were retro, perhaps from the communist era, as if time had stopped. The owner was very reluctant, and the Ukrainian staff seemed quite confused. I really recommend avoiding this place. Breakfast could be more varied, with things like eggs, a baked bun, or porridge. Season the dishes better, and don't serve pork three days in a row, even in the chicken with paprika.

The worst parts for me were the room and the meals. There was a live spider above the wardrobe and a dead one under the bed. The mattresses were old, much too soft, and smelled bad. Our wardrobe was falling apart, the mirror was tiny, and the plugs barely held a charger. There was a drawing of a pizza, boobs, and a penis on the wall. The curtains were too small, and the water smelled. Heating only warmed part of the room, so my wet clothes were still wet in the morning. The bathroom was confusing too: the blue-marked shower side ran warm, while the red side ran cold. We were on a ski course, and the small bin wasn't enough for five days. I don't know whether we were meant to empty it ourselves or whether someone was supposed to clean it; nobody explained. Lunch was poor. The man serving had no gloves, and our food wasn't consistent. Someone got loads of oregano with the spaghetti, while I got none. The bar prices were ridiculous. Water was 40 Kč, and I'm not paying 40 Kč for water in plastic.
