The price and portions were good, and the meat was good too. But the sauce was the same generic brown sauce, and everything was far too salty. I wouldn’t come back.

The staff were helpful throughout, and I’d stay here again whenever I’m in Blansko. I’d been hiking in the moravian karst and stopped by at 8 in the morning, hoping to leave my backpack for the day. The doors are usually closed then, but someone opened up and stored my luggage. After hiking, I checked in and relaxed on the comfortable bed in my cozy room. Dinner at the restaurant at 8 in the evening was the best czech cuisine I had on my two day trip. Breakfast the next morning was really good too, and there was enough that I could pack some sandwiches for the journey.

The furnishing and facilities are dated, but if you’re hungry in the area, this is definitely the place to go. Whenever our employer pays us a bonus, my colleagues and I come here for steaks. I’ve traveled around the world, and the food quality really does compare with the best steak places I’ve tried. It’s quite a surprise, but true.

The apartments are clean and comfortable, and there are lots of shops nearby. You don’t need to go elsewhere to eat, since the hotel has a magnificent restaurant. If you like meat, do try it: they have lots of different steak options. Have the meat with Moravia red vine for a perfect meal. A really good place for a relaxing stay and pleasant memories. I’d definitely recommend it!
