A very nice stay at Aben & Hana. Everything was clean, the rooms were a good size for two, and the bathroom was modern and had a clean shower. The backyard garden was lovely too. The owner was helpful and spoke a little German. We walked about 10 minutes from the pension to the Modřice Station and took the S-Bahn into Brno city center. There’s a supermarket, an ATM, and a few small shops nearby. By the train station are two restaurants with delicious, authentic food.

The owner told us to park across the street in an unmarked spot, partly on the grass, because the spaces in front of the hotel were too short for a normal car. Later, he argued with us because we’d moved all our things from the unsecured car into our room.

The rooms have a cozy mid-century look, and the inner yard is beautiful. It was pretty cold, though. I ended up pulling on my wool socks at night.

Really bad for the high price. The beds were small, the Wi-Fi was bad, and there was no shower or shampoo. Nobody responded, and there was no breakfast.
