Lovely Czech food at good prices, great service, and locally brewed beers in 10, 11, and 12, all of them great. Definitely the best food and beer at Brno central plaza 🤠

Breakfast was a real highlight for us: it was huge, delicious, and had plenty of choices for starting a day around town. The hotel is also handy for getting around, with attractions, cafes, and restaurants nearby and the main station within walking distance. We stayed four nights, and our room on the fourth floor made it memorable. It was roomy and nicely decorated, with lots of storage and a cosy balcony overlooking Freedom Square. The bed was especially comfortable, and we slept better than we often do in hotels. The spacious bathroom had a refreshing shower, good-quality shower gel, and body lotion. Wi-Fi worked reliably, too. Check-in was quick and welcoming, and the staff made check-out just as easy. We had a wonderful stay and would be glad to come back.

The location on Freedom Square made it easy to have the city center right outside, and there’s a restaurant downstairs where you can buy breakfast. Self check-in was simple, and the apartment is pet-friendly. I’m drawn to art, so I spent a lot of time looking at the unusual details, especially the face-shaped sofa and the huge painting in the bedroom. The apartment itself was quiet, very clean, and filled with thoughtful touches. The hosts left coffee, water, and even a bottle of champagne, which was especially nice. There’s plenty of organized storage, lighting for each area, and a proper workspace if you need one. The bathroom is lovely, the towels are soft, and the Botanica products with argan oil felt high quality. For what you get, the price is very reasonable. A beautiful place with a great view.

The food was good and the beer was good, but the service and management were poor. When there was a problem with the bill, our server just shrugged and said they couldn’t take anything off. The manager said she didn’t speak English, and neither seemed to care about the customers. There was also a lot of vaping while we were trying to eat. Apparently that’s allowed in Brno, and only smokers have to go outside.
