Dům U pikové desítky

The rooms were spacious, and the Brno location is excellent, but cleanliness was lacking. The bathroom was in poor shape, particularly the shower, whose door would not close all the way. It was noisy too, from the nearby church bells and especially from a whole family of pigeons. The entrance is dirty and unwelcoming and needs attention.

The apartment was warm and cosy, with a comfortable bed, and it stayed quiet because the window faced a courtyard. It was very clean and nicely furnished, with a kitchenette stocked with dishes, plates, wine glasses, a coffee maker, and a tea kettle. Coffee, tea, and creamer were there too. It’s an apartment hotel right in the city center, easy to reach. There’s no nearby parking, though an underground garage a short distance away has spots at reasonable prices. Check-in and checkout are contactless, with no reception desk. I wanted to leave my luggage on my last day, which was tricky without a reception, but the staff were helpful when I called and arranged a secure place for my bags. It was a very pleasant stay, especially for anyone who values privacy.

The self-service check-in and checkout were straightforward. Close to the city center, the hotel had a roomy, pleasant, quiet room and a really comfortable bed.

Shops, restaurants, pubs, and monuments are all nearby, and there’s a parking garage about 400 m away. The old city center location is lovely, easy to get around from, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The price is reasonable too.
