Grandezza Hotel Luxury Palace

I arrived before the official 3 pm check-in, and my room was already ready. They offered me wine or water, and the front desk acknowledged me straight away even while helping another guest. Everyone was pleasant, welcoming, and fluent in English. They also said they'd pack breakfast to take on the train if I had an early departure. My room overlooked the historic plaza and fountain. It was beautifully furnished, with outlets easy to reach for my devices. The linens were crisp and the pillows perfect. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station. I highly recommend it for the service, location, and ambience.

The location is amazing, though the décor feels rather old-fashioned. The front desk speaks English, which was helpful. My friend lost something during our stay, but I still booked the hotel for my mother because the location is just that good. The price is a little high but acceptable. To me, it doesn't quite measure up to other five-star hotels I've stayed in.

The location made exploring easy, and it's just a five-minute walk from the train station. We were welcomed by wonderfully friendly staff, who noticed my girlfriend's birthday had been the day before and gave us a gift. Our room was quiet, well appointed, and had a stunning view of the square. The AC worked great. We didn't try the restaurant, though it looked fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we'll absolutely be back!

The location is probably one of the best in Brno, but the rest of our two-night stay didn't feel luxurious or meet expectations. Our room was dirty at check-in, and the bathroom smelled of sewer. Staff weren't helpful on several occasions, the air conditioner barely worked, and the elevator had problems too. The hotel should improve its service or consider changing its name.
