The chalet has spectacular views and a great location for cross-country skiing, and it’s been renovated beautifully. Service seems to have gone downhill, though. The waiter came across as unwelcoming and overwhelmed. It’s still a wonderful place to visit and stay, but I’d suggest going in the low season.

The food was awesome, as always, and this is still my favorite place to eat in this part of Krkonose. But on my last visit, getting served was a struggle even though the restaurant wasn’t full and there were plenty of staff. It took over 15 minutes just to order, and I had to fetch a menu from another table. One staff member stood at the bar doing nothing and seemed to actively avoid making eye contact with guests. I’ll definitely come back, but that visit was frustrating.

We came in October, when it definitely felt like the off season. After hiking up in grey weather and light rain, we were glad this place was open. The food and service were excellent, and the prices were fair. Best Bouda so far, keep up the great work. Thank you!

Honestly, I don’t like the change in management, and the food is horrible, so I won’t come back. The only good thing was the big guy in the black T-shirt, he is frajr. -David Kozáků I kind of agree with Dáda, that big server guy was cool. But we waited quite a while for our homemade lemonade, Kofola, and svîčková.
